Why St. Jude?

Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food, allowing them to focus on helping their child live. St. Jude has helped increase the childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent in 1962 to over 80 percent today. They provide care regardless of race, ethnicity, beliefs, or ability to pay.

When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered largely incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent, and they won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.

Shaw’s Ongoing Support

Since 2012, Shaw has contributed more than $25 million to St. Jude through various programs:

• National sponsor of the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, donating flooring for 40+ homes annually.
• Clean For a Cause: A portion of TotalWorx cleaning product sales supports St. Jude. 
• Cushion For a Cause: $0.18 per square yard of select cushion styles benefits St. Jude. 
• Exclusively First: Launching in 2025, this program will contribute up to $0.76 per square yard. 
• St. Jude Memphis Marathon Weekend: Shaw has raised nearly $3 million since 2014.
